Kill All Festivals is a consortium of summer festivals that come together for a unique event with live performances, line up announcements, film, music, animation, prizes, pizza, beer and more. This is a not-to-miss event for all fans of experimental/weird/awesome media in all its forms! Join us as Risk/Reward announces the lineup for the 2014 Festival of New Performance. Producing Artistic Director, Jerry Tischleder will give an in depth preview of each participating artist.

This one-night collaborative evening features programming from: the Experimental Film Festival, the Creative Music Guild’s Improvisation Summit of Portland, the Northwest Animation Festival, the Risk/Reward Festival of New Performance, the Quiet Music Fest, the Portland Underground Film Festival, and more!

 

PARTICIPATING FESTIVALS:

Northwest Animation Festival celebrates the best new work from independent animators around the globe. Now the biggest animation show in the USA, it includes 200+ short films, guest screenings, after-parties, a special “BoxTrolls” presentation by LAIKA, more. May 12-18 @ The Hollywood Theatre.

EFF Portland (Experimental Film Fest Portland) will celebrate its third year in the Fair City of Roses May 28- June 1, with 11 screenings, 6 performances, an exhibition of installations, and, new this year, the EFFPortland Local Throwdown! Our contenders will be introduced to the public and the lineup of March-Madness-Style competition will be REVEALED at Kill All Festivals!

The Creative Music Guild’s Improvisation Summit of Portland is a festival of improvised music and dance. (June 4-7) Grant Pierce, Jesse Mejía, John Savage, Linda Austin and Vanessa Vogel and more will perform at Kill All Festivals.

The Risk/Reward Festival of New Performance (June 20-22) presents independent dance, theater, music, and hybrid artists who are pushing the boundaries of live performance in new and innovative directions. Our 2014 lineup will be announced at Kill All Festivals.

Quiet Music Festival of Portland (August 12-13) features special performances by musicians from across the country, highlighting “emotional, vibrant and low volume” music. www.quietmusicfestivalofportland.com Portland Underground Film Festival is an event for truly original and renegade filmmakers. PDX A.I.R. FEST (September 26 – 28) is the culmination performances of new works by 1 visiting and 6 local choreographers who are artists-in-residence in Studio 2@Zoomtopia’s “New Expressive Works” Residency Program AND Performance Works NorthWest || Linda Austin Dance’s Alembic Resident Artists Program.
