An evening of pop-up performances in public places

POSTPONED: An evening of pop-up performances in public places.
National and local artists will engage with the environment and the community through short form site-specific performances in public spaces throughout the Central Eastside neighborhood, enlivening our streets with unexpected images and experiences.
HOW THE FESTIVAL WORKS
We solicit proposals from local performing artists for outdoor, site-specific works that can be performed in less than 20-minutes. This year’s PAVEMENT festival selections will be curated by director and interdisciplinary artist Tracy Cameron Francis and Risk/Reward Producing Artistic Director Boom Arts. We challenge the artists to run wild – encouraging creative risks, experimentation and bold investigation. Audience members are asked to convene at Jupiter Hotel in Central Eastside neighborhood before joining together to walk through the surrounding area, encountering artists and their works as they arise (or “pop up,” if you will).
