New creations and world premieres are all the rage in the performance community. This event gathers local dramaturgs, playwrights, ensembles, producers and audience members to discuss the creation and evolution of new work. What types of processes are used to move from the script or studio to the stage? How are new creation methods affecting the ways new plays are produced? What is the role of a producer or institution in the development of a new work?
