Our 2024 was filled with wonder, magic, and the deepest of love for the creative minds of the artists that shared their work with Portland audiences this year. We went bigger than ever in PICA’s warehouse and annex as we presented 5 mainstage works, 3 late-night, a full installation, a site-specific dance piece, and hosted the 2nd Annual Drag Theatre Workshop. Then, in September, we shifted our gaze forward and presented three nights of topical performance as the Election Anti-Party, presenting a slew of short pieces as well as theater, dance, and film, all of it to contextualize and inform the approaching election.
And 2025 is going to be bigger still! Here’s to more risks, more rewards, and more thrilling art as we celebrate our 17th annual Festival of New Performance!
