This, our 7th installment of Renée’s Queer Cabaret, is a Special Edition of our resistance variety show that defies the traditional cabaret with rock music and a focus on the intimate humor, joys, and vulnerabilities of living as LGBTQIA+. With the bright light of public vaccinations shining at the end of the quarantine tunnel, at last, we’re bringing the Cabaret back with another filmed, digital edition, premiering on May 29, 2021 at 7:30pm on YouTube.

Filmed edition! This will be our third filmed edition of the show, which will be released via YouTube on May 29, 2021 at 7:30pm. We’re looking for guest performers living in the Pacific Northwest who self-identify as LGTBQIA+ to submit original videos to be featured in a cohesive, hosted format.

RENÉE’S QUEER CABARET is a series of themed “resistance variety shows” hosted by actor/musician, Renée Muzquiz. This show defies the traditional cabaret with original music and a focus on the intimate humor, joys and vulnerabilities of living as LGBTQIA+.

THE THEME WILL BE “COMEBACK SPECIAL.” We are on the verge of coming out of the pandemic, so how will you show up for yourself and each other from now on? The pandemic has undoubtedly shifted something in all of us, so this is your opportunity to start over and make a bold new statement about yourself and/or the world.
