A festival of pop-up performances in public places.

National and local artists will engage with the environment and the community through short form site-specific performances in public spaces throughout the First Thursday gallery walk enlivening our streets with unexpected images and experiences.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: Risk/Reward seeks individual artists or collectives that would like to create a short form ( under 10 minute) performance in a site-specific location along the First Thursday Gallery walk in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon. Longer or durational performance will be considered on a case by case basis. One development workshop will be offered to discuss and workshop your piece prior to the festival.
